After passing the North Carolina State Bar in 1994, RJ began working at Bourlon & Steinberg for 4 years and gained valuable experience in litigation, being in the court room on a daily basis. He then started his own law firm in 1997 and since that time has been practicing law in Durham and Raleigh, managing two offices.
RJ is a practicing attorney who hears his client's concerns, looks at the obstacles in front of him and collaborates with the client to create goals and a road map to reach them. Whether acting as corporate counsel, commercial and residential real estate attorney or drafting your Will, Contract or Lease, RJ will use his twenty-three years of experience and seasoned staff to create a positive outcome for the client. He handles client matters throughout North Carolina, from the mountains to the coast from his current office locations in Chapel Hill and Raleigh.
